For current employees

Start of a new semester

At the start of each new semester all new employees have to attend a two-day kick-off and team building seminar. 

Only after the future employees have attended this seminar they take over their department or process from the team of the former semester.

 

Organisation

Our training firm operates for two hours per week. Additionally, each week there are meetings that last about three hours.

Each employee is allowed to go on vacation for one day per semester.

Working in our training firm requires a high level of participation and it is usually necessary also to work outside of the regular business hours to deal with the amount of tasks to accomplish.

During the semester all employees have to visit another training firm based at a high school.

During the semester all employees have to keep record of their ongoing work and hand them in at the end of a semester in the form of a portfolio. This portfolio also contains a personal reflection, the application, the personal aims set at the start of the semester, the three best works and the own view of the development opportunities of the KFUNIline.

Students (our employees) don't have to take an exam the the end of the semester. They are graded based on their own assessment and assessment of their team mates as well on their professional competences and key competences.
