Company Information

The practice enterprise UniLine Education & Consulting GmbH (UniLine) is the result of the merger of the two previous practice enterprises eXpand International Consultancy GmbH and KFUNIline Übungsfirma-Weiterbildungs GmbH. UniLine was established in the winter term 2023/24. The reason for the merger was the declining number of students. UniLine is situated at the Department of Business Education and Development at the University of Graz. 

UniLine is a simulated business as well as a complex learning environment. On one hand, there is the business side, where the students learn the basic concepts of an organisation within UniLine’s processes. On the other hand, students practice reflection and think about learning and development processes within the practice enterprise with the help of Corporate Support.  

Structure of UniLine

To illustrate the organisation, we show the structure of UniLine using the organisational chart below. UniLine consists of two sales units, with the option of expansion if required, that report to the team management. The two sales units are responsible for the West and East region, respectively. The Corporate Support department has an overview of all sales units and ensures efficient internal and external coordination. The two sales units, the corporate support and the team management support the value-adding processes in their activities and make a significant contribution to achieving the company's goals. 

Each of the divisions has a team leader who is responsible for communication within the unit, but also ensures that information is passed on between the processes and the management.
