Sustainability is possibly the hottest topic right now in the business world. The reason for that is obvious and the market demands companies to think about this topic if they want to stay competitive. Therefore, sustainability has been a center point for us for already two terms now. At the moment we are in the middle of the process of constructing a sustainability report which will contain information about our sustainability measures for our stakeholders. A major point of discussion is certainly how we want to tackle this topic in the framework of a practice enterprise as we, of course, have different prerequisites compared to an actual company. Most noticeable, of course, is that we do not actually produce a product/service and that we are only modelling/simulating our expenses (e.g., electricity bill). Thus, a lot of our considerations concerning sustainability are fictional but non the less well thought of.
Furthermore, there are some aspects of our practice enterprise that we can influence. For example, the mass mailing which takes place at the end of every term. We would like to reduce the amount of paper used by limiting the schools to which we send out postal mail by substituting it with electronic mail.
